I design websites that help small businesses grow by focusing on their unique needs; working to deliver them and their users the same level of experience they've learned to expect from larger companies. Working closely with clients to make their business shine online is one of my greatest joys.
Everything is designed: with that perspective, every experience has a potential for learning. I thrive on learning, continuously leveling up my design through research, courses, tutorials, and mentorship; while keeping my horizons broad with podcasts, biographies, TED talks, and literature.
Contact me if you need help with your web presence, I'd love to learn about your project.
Classically trained in painting, I’ve worked in many media over the years- building kilns and teaching ceramics, painting murals and teaching drawing; my love of human interaction always brought me back to bartending.
This led me to run bars for almost a decade. I fell in love with the business and operations side of things but longed to get back to my creative roots. Drawing on my experience building websites back in the dark ages, I transitioned back into UX/UI design: the perfect blend of human connection, creativity, and business objectives in my book.
I am currently seeking new challenges and opportunities where I can grow as a designer, learn from veterans of the industry, and make a positive impact.
I live in the Brewerytown neighborhood of Philadelphia with my talented gardener wife Meg, our effervescent three-year-old son Desmond, and a couple of rescue cats.
In my spare time I make furniture and toys for our son, and cook, while listening to funky music and nerdy podcasts.
